Our Purpose in Life
God wants us to grow up…like Christ in everything. Ephesians 4:15.
What does it mean to “mature or grow up in Christ”?

How does God make us like Jesus?

I. God Uses Trouble
Why do you think a loving Father would use trouble as a means of developing maturity in us? Romans 5:3-4.
Why do you think we grow more during times of trouble?
II. God Uses Temptation
Do you think that sometimes God tempts us? James 1:13.
Where does temptation originate from?
What do you think is the difference between trials and temptations?
Does God sometimes send trials to us? Genesis 22:1 and Deuteronomy 8:2.
What do you think God has in mind for us when He sends us a trial or test?
Are sin and temptation one and the same thing?
